She remembered, no matter how drunk or sober she was. In her drunkenness she was tormented by her memories and when she awoke: she lived them.
Lorraine gritted her teeth as she threw the can across the parking lot, watching it smash into someone’s vehicle. Then the feeling came over her...more like a longing: a longing for peace, for a good life...for love: to just know that someone loved her. The feeling was almost too much to bear and it caused her to shiver from head to toe. Lorraine turned around and yanked her car door open, slipping into her seat and grabbing her keys. Oh, William! This snippet is from chapter 9 of The Light. Hope you enjoyed! Don't forget to tell your friends about the book!! Thank you and GOD Bless ya'll!! "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
