Her hands began to shake as she slipped out of bed, a frown planted on her confused face. The words were so clear, as though someone in the very room had leaned over and whispered them to her. No, it was as though someone had leaned down to her very heart and spoke them softly.
With a shaky sigh she walked quietly out of the room and closed the door gently behind her. She made her way into the kitchen, willing her nerves to calm down. Willing her body to stop it's trembling. She shook her head slightly to try and clear it as she went to the refrigerator and retrieved for herself a couple of cans of beer. Lorraine entered the junky living room, slumping onto the couch with a low groan, leaning her head back against the head rest. She sat still for a few seconds before she looked down at the drinks in her hand. For the first time, the very first time, they didn't look appealing. They looked...so...disdainful. The only thing that seemed good at the moment was the voice she had heard only a few minutes before. Sweetness. Beautiful. Good. There were no words that she could think of to describe it. Come unto Me- She growled lowly as the words started to come again, shaking her head with agitation, rubbing her hands across her face. "Oh, shut up!" She kicked at the coffee table in front of her, knocking it over as she said, "Just shut up!" Grabbing one of the beers she opened it hurriedly and lifted it to her lips, wanting to feel the cold liquid run down her sore throat. Just take me away! She begged it as she took the long drink. Take me to the place where I will remember no more. Just take me away with you, forever. Never return me.
